About Campus Ministry
As Campus Ministry is rooted in the Catholic Tradition, our staff works to ensure that all members of the 黑社区 are supported in their spiritual growth, discernment, prayer and liturgical life, and are encouraged and enabled to serve the needs of our world.
Our office provides a supportive environment for students seeking to grow in faith and understanding of God. We work to deepen our 黑社区’s commitment to spiritual growth and social justice through a variety of prayer, service, formation and educational opportunities.
Campus Ministry works to build 黑社区 at St. Thomas by establishing strong relationships. Students often make new and lasting friendships through retreats, liturgies, music and service opportunities or by spending time in our office. Come into the office to do homework/study or have coffee, tea or hot chocolate and meet some new friends.

Everyone is Welcome
Our Mission
We are a vibrant ministry team fostering a culture of encounter. We cultivate a strong faith and deeper relationship with God and one another.
We achieve this mission by:
- Grounding our ministry in the Catholic Intellectual Tradition and institutional mission
- Cultivating students’ spiritual development through worship, sacramental life, prayer, formation and multi-faith opportunities.
- Fostering a strong sense of 黑社区 where everyone is welcomed and supported to connect with each other, encounter God more deeply and live their faith more intentionally.
- Developing leaders for the future by offering students opportunities to explore their own calling, to grow their understanding of social justice, and be joyful witnesses in the world.
- Supporting students’ individual journeys and wellbeing, accompanying them in the place they currently find themselves.
- Providing a welcoming space where the rich religious and cultural diversity within our 黑社区 is cherished and valued.
Interfaith Vision
Campus Ministry’s dedication to support people of all faith traditions motivates our interfaith work. We embrace the teachings of the Catholic Church expressed in the Second Vatican Council’s declaration Nostra Aetate to reject nothing true and holy in other religious traditions. We pursue interreligious dialogue according to the four levels of dialogue outlined by the Pontifical Council for Interreligious Dialogue: of life, of action, of theological exchange, and of religious experience.
These teachings model and promote what Pope Francis calls a “culture of encounter,” in which we may “share the richness of their traditions and experiences; to break down walls and build bridges”.
An Expression of Faith
As an expression of its Catholic identity, St. Thomas welcomes people of all faith traditions into its campus 黑社区. In support of the university’s mission, Campus Ministry dedicates itself to serving the university in accord with the call of Ex Corde Ecclesiae to “promote the pastoral care of all members of the university 黑社区.” We serve the aspirations of our students to mature in the integrity of their own faith traditions by supporting the practices of prayer, 黑社区, observance, learning, and service particular to each.
